Ubuntu

Ubuntu. Humanity. The power of human connection to create positive impact and change. Through carefully designed journeys that are sensitive to the host - destination and people - journeys that go deep into the philosophies, culture and wisdom of a place, journeys that provide the landscape for an exchange of energies that will carry forward in creating true positive change, holistically.

I deeply believe in the power of human connection, with other people, with self, and the planet. Based on this and on my confidence that travel can be meaningful and exciting for the traveler while creating a positive impact on the communities, cultures and environments that we travel to, Ubuntu was launched in early 2022. I like to create deeper connections with travellers and local partners to design inspirational and unique journeys that go deeper,  employ regenerative practices to create positive change, as best is possible at the time. An open, collaborative way of design with the host community is important. I hope to bring travellers, destinations and communities closer, together.

In keeping with this, I believe travel is a tool to go across various genres of life. It opens our minds and sometimes, even without knowing it, we are exchanging knowledge, culture, energies, that will create a path to positive impact and ergo change, for the future.

Ubuntu, Ubuntu Junior and Ubuntu Specialist all aim to achieve this, whether it is creating longer or fixed journeys to unique destinations, whether it is creating special journeys that create a change in mindset in fields of design, architecture, wellness, food, etc or whether it is creating journeys where children and youth are the protagonists.
