Dwarf Pencilfish (Nannostomus marginatus)

These beautiful fish have completed my blackwater biotope. I purchased seven and two have paired up spending most of their time inside the Anubis Nana forest. The other five look almost playful as they explore all areas but spend a good portion in the upper levels of the aquarium, which is exactly what was missing. Very happy with the online purchase and locker pickup experience at the store in Guelph, especially since it was on a holiday!

Pencilfish are fantastic alternatives to tetras and rasboras. It is a shame that they aren’t very popular because they have fantastic personalities. Thanks for brining these fish in Jarmila. 1/6 died for no reason (looked healthy) but the remaining 5 are doing fine even after a few weeks. Definitely will be getting more in the future.

ordered 6 of them, one didn't make it, died in a few days. all the rest 5 live happily. Even when the two rainbow kribs breeded and messed up the tank, three of them survive with high pressure, and they are back to normal after I removed the pair of kribs. Highly recommended, group behavior is funny to watch. Waiting for next batch.

I Love pencil fish a Unique fish. Every chance I get I buy them .The last time I had dwarf pencil fish it lived a little over three years very impressive for such a small fish. Angelfish very healthy fish excellent communication and prompt delivery

The first time I ordered these, unfortunately the delays caused by Canada Post caused 100% DOA. Angelfins came through with their awesome customer service and refunded me for the DOAs, and as soon as the next shipment came, I bought myself another group of 10. I used FedEx this time - I noticed Angelfins had put stickers that said "VERY URGENT" in numerous places to help ensure that FedEx knew it was a very time sensitive package which I absolutely appreciated and loved because the FedEx delivery person noticed and I got the package in like 17 hrs which is absolutely phenomenal, considering how backlogged a lot of couriers are. The fish came in very healthy and active. I find it adorable how their little fins flutter like a hummingbirds wings and like that they tend to stick together.
