The Great Wall of China is the only man-made object visible from space. The wall was built over 2,000 years ago by Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang to protect his empire from invaders. The wall is over 13,000 miles long, and it runs through some of the most rugged terrain in China. The wall is made of stone, brick, and mortar, and it features watchtowers and guardhouses. Today, the Great Wall is a popular tourist destination, and it attracts millions of visitors each year.  It is one of the most iconic structures in the world. When it was first built, the wall was only about 10 feet tall. However, over time, it has been rebuilt and enlarged to its current height of about 30 feet. The Great Wall of China is an amazing feat of engineering and stands as a testament to the power of human ingenuity.  While the Great Wall is not the only man-made structure that can be seen from space, it is the only one that can be seen with the naked eye. This is due to its size and location.
