About

Working in the public sector has really opened my eyes to the immense opportunities that are out there. I would love to make a difference in the lives of Torontonians and others in the GTA from both a social and environmental standpoint. Growing up in Toronto, I only ever saw the beauty. As I continue to get older and become more creative and understanding, I see the ways in which Toronto excels, but also the many opportunities we have to create a more livable space. I am a strong team player and I like working closely with others to create a healthy work environment where all are heard. I am a creative thinker, often using visual arts as a reference for the work I create. I enjoy working in a public setting where I am able to interact with our communities and better understand the lives of those around me. I've worked hard to excel in my past positions using my communication skills, analytical skills, and healthy work relationships. I am open to work in different settings that allow me to grow and expand my knowledge and understanding of how our society works.

Planning is viewed as social, economic, cultural and holds opportunity to learn about land-development, transportation, the environment, heritage and the community in which we plan for.

Planning is viewed as social, economic, cultural and holds opportunity to learn about land-development, transportation, the environment, heritage and the community in which we plan for.

In my four years at Ryerson, I have grown an interest in the environmental, ecological and sustainable areas of planning. The protection and enhancement of our natural space is key for our future. I have also grown an interest in community based planning, and working for the people rather than against. Planners can make a huge difference when including the public in decisions and future plans. Our Canadian cities need to become more livable for our future generations to come.
