About Sanni Est

Sanni Est is a Brazilian multimedia artist living in Berlin since 2007. She's a DJ, performer, musician, actress and trans*feminist activist. As an immigrant trans*woman of colour she often uses her biography as narrative for songs, political and educational activism and community building projects.
The artist also often uses her own naked trans* brown body as a political weapon and visual element in her own works and collaborations.

In the past few years, she has had the chance to DJ, act and sing on several stages and in films in different countries including Germany, Belgium, Holland, Austria, India, Israel and Brazil.
