Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: The former rectory of Mantyharju was built in the early 19th century. It was built to replace the original rectory that had fallen into ruin. The building was a rectory up until World War II, when it was reverted into several apartments for refugees of war. Afterwards it housed local church employees. In the 1960's the rectory was reverted into a museum.
Suomi: Mäntyharjun entisen pappilan päärakennus valmistui 1800-luvun alussa korvaamaan entistä pahoin rapistunutta pappulaa. Rakennus toimi pappilana aina toiseen maailmansotaan asti, jolloin siitä remontoitiin asuntoja Karjalan evakoille. Myöhemmin asunnoissa majoitettiin seurakunnan työntekijöitä. 1960-luvulla pappilaan perustettiin paikallismuseo. |
