About Calla Lily
The calla lily is a popular, elegant plant and not actually a lily at all! In fact, they’re more closely related to other houseplants like pothos and Monstera than actual lilies. The ‘flowers’ are also not flowers, but specialized leaves that protect the tiny blossoms on the stalk in the center. Their ‘flowers’ may last as long as two months and they will continue to rebloom over time in the right conditions.

Finding light for Calla Lily in your home
Calla Lily may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Calla Lily in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Calla Lily
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Calla Lily after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

In need of support (pun intended) #CallaLily This is my brave root rot survivor. After like six months of nothing he started growing rapidly. The leaves are so tall they will snap without support. Is there anything I can do to prevent this or do I have to keep him looking like he is a hostage forever? He is leaning on a window that has film on the lower part so I guess that is why this happened. This is my only window so I can't move him.

My plant is outside in 70 degrees during day probably 50s at night time. Bur all of a sudden our leaves are turning yellow. Each day more and more are turning. How do we prevent this from occurring? #CallaLily

What’s up with my Calla Lily? I have Calla Lillie’s in an aquapot (pot with water reservoir at the bottom so soil is always moist) and read of others succeeding with that. I have a grow light over it and it gets direct sunlight in the mornings (east facing window in MI). The plant isn’t happy! Flowers died off and the leaves are starting to go too. Very notably, many of the dead leaves feel extremely soggy at the base as if they’re rotting right off the roots. I assume this awuapot setup is just too much water for this plant but wanted to confirm before I start over.
