UAE floods: Flooded roads in Sharjah as record rains lash the United Arab Emirates

Flooded roads and shops in the Emirati city of Sharjah after heavy downpours caused disruptions. Images of flooded roads and vehicles partially submerged in water in UAE's Sharjah, as volunteers distributed food and water, several days after the heaviest rains on record drenched the country. Storms hit the UAE and Bahrain after lashing Oman, where 18 people were killed, including several children.
