Good Dominican food. Roast pork with rice, beans and sweet plantains were quality. Not much of a sit down place and closes early. Get take out before 8pm.

One of the best places to eat legit Dominican food. I have visited DR multiple times and can say this gives you a taste of the island if you can't make the trip.

Had the oxtail. It was delicious and less expensive than usual. The best food I had since being in NJ. This will become a regular lunch spot.

Pretty decent Dominican style drive through style spot. Overall I wasn't blown away by the steak and thought it was a little too salty but still not bad. Family had the pernil which they liked a good bit and I should've gotten that. Will be back again for a second try.

My visit to this restaurant was utterly disheartening. The food was a tasteless concoction of disappointment, and the service was a parade of apathy. Every aspect of the experience screamed mediocrity. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this culinary letdown. It's a regrettable experience that I wouldn't wish upon any diner seeking a delightful meal and attentive service.

It's a hole in the wall location that I got lost trying to find. Then once i realized it looked like a house, I managed to find it.
A fair warning though, it's ONLY a drive thru! I wasnt expecting that so I decided to go down the street to Faro to dine in, but I got a bunch of $2.50 chicken and beef empanadas and papas rellenos which were really fresh and amazing!!!
Sorry no pics but it was so good that we returned to buy more for the flight as an in-flight snack.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jeff H.Margareten, Vienna, Austria24713879334Jul 26, 2021
If you like Dominican food - and I recommend trying it if you are unfamiliar with this cuisine - you are in luck when at the Jersey Shore. On the mainland and not far from Atlantic City is a great Dominican takeout spot called El Bohio. All the popular dishes are here including my favorite Sancocho. Yes they have this national dish of the Dominican Republic every day ... and not just on Sundays. The delicious meaty stew with veggies is perfectly seasoned and very hearty. It is served with a generous portion of rice. I had to get a few apps when I was last here and the Quipe was outstanding. The Alcapurrias Yuca was also good but it is the Quipe filled with ground meat, bulgur, and onion which I would most recommend. I can def advise heading to El Bohio for a different culinary experience when visiting the Jersey Shore.

Found this Dominican place on the outskirts of Atlantic City that serves mofongo AND oxtails as their Friday special! Its made to order...Best mofongo I've had by far...I have not found a place in VA that has good mofongo so this IS the highlight on our AC trip hahaha! Oh the restaurant literally is a small house and they have a drive thru window for pickup on the side! There was a continuous flow of traffic so you know the food is good!

Love this place!!! Best homemade Spanish food in the area. Everything is fresh and made throughout the day. BYOB if you choose to stay and eat. If you do Take-out they do not short you on it at all. So much delicious food you definitely can get two meals out of or even share. The girls here are always friendly and accommodating. Small house on the main road with parking in the back.

Everything is cooked fresh each day and menu selections vary from day to day. Eat in or take-out is available.
