I'm usually a very harsh critic. However, this place far surpassed my expectations. The decor and atmosphere is very soothing, and the bread brought out during lunch was amazing. The woman I'm the restaurant was very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. I had the tomato pasta for my main course and it was amazing, maybe a little more salt could have been used but otherwise it was great. Would definitely come back.

We chose this place for our first night in Paris and were NOT disappointed. Arugula salad, steak, escargot and fish with saffron risotto were all incredible!!!! Small and welcoming restaurant with about 13 tables. It is truly perfect!

Our travel agent made our reservation and we were excited after looking at the menu and reviews online. Due to the limited seating you have to have a reservation, but we didn't feel cramped and didn't notice the size after we sat down. I had the escargot and the lamb shank, my wife had the scallop risotto and strawberry sorbet. The sauce I. The lamb was so delicious and the creaminess of the potatoes was amazing. The risotto itself was a little Alden the for our taste, but the scallops were perfect! The escargot was fun to eat and a buttery, earthy delight. The wine list was small, but the right selection for the menu.
Like many other restaurants in Paris this isn't an eat and run experience, it's more of a relax and enjoy the company and atmosphere experience! There's one server and she takes her time with each table, so plan to spend a few hour's enjoying your dinner. we would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Paris and we'll make a point to go back if we find ourselves in Paris again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 25, 2022Updated review
This is our all time favorite in Paris. The food and the service are always impeccable! Being going for 15 years and is always delicious and moderately priced. My faves are the Scallop Risotto and the Panna cotta.

Even better than most I've had in Italy. Eggplant also delicious. Panna cotta and chocolate mouse are to die for. We were a party of five and the only dish that wasn't awesome was the spaghetti. It was very fresh tasting and the pasta was cooked perfect it was just a bit bland could have used a bit of garlic and some herbs. Highly recommend. Will defiantly be back.

Sorza was a lovely experience! We made a reservation for a Sunday evening and I highly recommend you do, too, as it's a small restaurant in a popular location. There was one server for the entire space and she did a pretty good job keeping up with the tables.
We split a mozzarella appetizer that was the best we had of the trip - the tomatoes were perfectly ripe, salad was well dressed, and mozz was delicious. I had the scallop risotto and my only gripe is that the scallops continued to cook while sitting on top of the hot risotto so they were overcooked by the time I got to the second one. That was highly disappointing because they were the focal point of the dish. The carbonara was extremely creamy, almost too much, and nicely flavored. We split a creme brulee for dessert and it wasn't my favorite of the trip, but it was still tasty.
Overall, pleasant experience. Expect to spend a bit more as it is a pricier restaurant, but the ambiance and tastiness make it worthwhile.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Annie L.New York, NY2604726Aug 1, 2019
Amazing restaurant.
We got the burrata salad which was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The cherry tomatoes where the best tomatoes I'd ever had. Sweet and juicy with a nice firm bite.
We also shared the salmon risotto which had a little bite of foam on top. Just a gorgeous plate. The flavors were lovely and the risotto was cooked just right.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Stephanie W.Saint Paul, MN02Apr 28, 2022Updated review
I spent three weeks on the Ile St. Louis in December and ate twice at this wonderful restaurant. Lovely setting, friendly staff, superb food. I especially loved the eggplant with parmesan crisps and the risotto with salmon. Even as a single diner I felt welcomed and comfortable. I will be back in Paris in September and while I will not be staying in the neighborhood I will make a special trip here.

I went back twice during my recent visit to Paris and was never disappointed. Other diners were friendly too so, as a single diner, I felt right at home. Can't wait to get back to Paris to enjoy the food and atmosphere again!

I hid myself from a rain shower into this cozy restaurant. It has a stylish red and black interior. The restaurant itself has four tables where four people can sit. And another six two-seater, which can be grouped as required. It serves menus from noon till 7pm, after which it becomes a (wine) bar.
As starter I chose the onion soup with croutons (fried bread) . The finely sliced bread was covered with Parmesan and lying on a bed of onions. And all swimming in a soup. I liked it very much.
As main course I chose the dish of the day, which was saffron risotto with king prawns. The rice was creamy and the prawns well cooked. It was a delight.
Finally I ordered the Panna Cotta. It came in a big glass. It had a thin top layer of raspberry and another thin layer of orange jam in the middle. The epic conclusion of a great lunch.
The starter and main course were just 18€. Pretty reasonable. I would recommend this spot anytime.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jennifer A.CA, CA299146Feb 19, 2020
This place was very delicious but I don't think it was worth the price. My boyfriend and I both got "The Menu", which is a 3 course meal, but at the end of the night we would have been happy with just an entree. They are very good portions by them selves and about $27 euros for the steak. Overall, lovely restaurant and great unique French environment.
