Teijo's landscape is dominated by sea islands, lakes and rocky forests. In low places there are sedges, slope spruces and water crows, as well as a rare marsh in southern Finland. Hikers are also served by log cabins, campfire sites, tenting areas and a rental cabin. Game fish are planted in Matildanjärvi for the enjoyment of recreational anglers. The Halikonlahti forges tell of an industry that began in the 17th century. Kemiönsaari is known for its well-marked routes and unforgettable island experiences.
