Have yall ever heard of bumblebee snails eating vermetid snails? I recently heard about this and was curious what yalls opinion was? Did they eat the vermetid? Thanks.

I have a bunch of bumblebee snails and have never witnessed this....my vermatids can confirm [emoji849]

Yes, they are bumblebee snails. They are my favorite and i love their shells (so much more interesting than other snail shells, and they're small so they don't disturb frags like larger snails do). I buy whenever Dennis has them in stock and Im in the area.

Do they eat Vermetid enough to make a dent in them? The information and videos I’ve watched are mixed.

Yeah, kinda what I’ve heard. I can’t find many videos where they’re actually eating them. Emerald crabs definitely scrap them off the rocks no doubt, but they went after my corals.

I have a thread over at R2R about them and probably one of the best two answers I’ve heard is that coral snow will help eradicate them. Several people have reported this and I’ve been meaning to pick up a bottle. The other thing I’ve noticed a lot of people say is that they just went away on their own. Several people reported that one day they were just gone. I’m not sure if this has something to do with tank maturity or a particular product or supplement that people get lucky using and it eradicates them.
