intro: Cm Cm G# G# D7 D7 C7 C7 Bm Bm C C D7 D7 C7 C7 (broken chords) A. verse 1 E A# Here we go, into the next scene, scattered by the wind Random thoughts of every kind, tantalize your mind but it's never what it seems, no thing of value there Something's tugging from inside, something's trying to dare riff E B F# E - F# B E C# A F E B When it all comes tumbling down, what 'cha going to do? When there's nowhere left to go, where are you going to? When all the gods have packed their bags, and bought their tickets, too. We'll all be holding empty bags, the joke's on me and you. B. chorus A G Cm Gm Look inside your closet, to see what you can find. If A G C#m G#m there's a magick carpet, just take it for a ride. It A G D#m A#m won't take you just anywhere, you have to go inside. It A G Dm A won't take long to get there, you've been there all the time. verse 2 Never did I ever think we'd ever be so clever as to haul right up and sever all the ties we had before. Now it's later than we think, and we're standing on the brink of something we've not ever seen, and won't a-gain for evermore. riff Lively leaping lizards looking lovely in the sun. I've been awake forever but the day has just begun. But now the day is over and there's no time left for fun, and there's no time like the present, and at present there is none.   Chorus 2 Look inside your mirror, to see what you can find See if there's a rabbit hole and take it for a ride. It won't take you just anywhere, you have to stay inside. It won't take long to get there, it's been there all the time. C. bridge Cm G# D7 C7 The old land is the new land, but still something has changed Cm G# D7 C7 It seems the hills and rivers, have all been rearranged. Bm C D7 C7 The old way is the new way, but everything is changed Bm C D7 C7 and those that still remember, will start it all again. Instrumental break [ E E A# A# ] 4x [Cm G# D7 C7] 2x [Bm C D7 C7] 2x p.2 Verse 3 Did you ever get the feeling, when you look up in the sky - that there really is no heaven, that you go to when you die? Could it be there's something missing, something we just can't recall? - And the things we think all matter, just don't mean a thing at all. riff Slippery song semantics, should slide inside a while. Makes you glow from head to toe, and then it makes you smile. If you think enough about it, then you begin to shine. You get that tingly feeling, and then you can unwind.   Slippery spell semantics, can slide inside your mind. Makes you glow from head to toe, and then you're feelin' fine. Leave your Self right where it is, and travel in your mind. You get that magick feeling, and then you feel sublime.   Chorus 3 Look inside your self, to see what you can find. make a nice merkabah, and take it for a ride. It won't take you just anywhere, you have to come inside. It won't take long to get there, you've been there all the time.   C. bridge The old land is the new land, but still something has changed. It seems the hills and rivers, have all been rearranged. The old way is the new way, but everything is changed. and those that still remember, just left on the very last train.   verse 4 Lovely leaping lizards looking lively in the sun. We've been around forever but the time has just begun. But now the time is over and there's no where left to run, and there's no time but the present, but at present there is none. riff (start fading) Slippery sacred antics, can penetrate your mind. Makes you glow from head to toe, and leaves you feelin' fine. Sit or stand or lay right down, and travel for a while. Before you're gone an instant, you'll have gone a country mile. Outro: E E A# A# (broken chords)

Tiny, sparkling grains of sand are running through my fingers Time is falling through my hands I would that it could linger. Falling, tumbling round and round un-til they settle on the ground. Countless in number, gold, tan and umber I watch them pass. Silent as shadows they run through my human hour glass. Each and every day time slips away like sand running through my hands. Through the endless span of time there's one eternal moment. Life is but a spark of Light, a momentary glowing As we do the dance of Life we bring ourselves together. like a running stream of wine that gathers at the river Through the endless sands of time we yearn for ever knowing. and for all eternity we learn as we are going Endlessly the cycles turn without a sound like grains of sand, they mark the time, as they go down. As we do the dance of Life we bring ourselves together. like a running stream of wine that gathers at the river

The Web We Weave   - Cell phones, and televisions, watch the cars go on their missions. Planes and rockets, tanks and mortars, soldiers waiting for their orders. Bills and taxes, forms and contracts, mortguages and social contacts Roads and bridges, walls and fences, turnpikes, toll roads never ending.   Mow the lawn and trim the hedges, don't forget to do the edges Rake the leaves and shovel snow in time to make the evening show. Looking at computer screens it seems we're living in a dream. - it's all hard to believe the complicated web - we - weave.   Guns and wars and politicians, banks and stocks and ammunition. Churches, priests and their religions, mass control by superstition. Lawyers, judges, cops all gather, fill the jails is all that matters. Big parades and rodeos and sports events on radios.   Plays and movies, grills and bars, buses trains and flying cars. Robots calling to the spaceships, lies behind the president's lips. Living life in two dimensions, nothing's really as it seems - all so very complicated living in the web - we - weave.   Deep fried, gentrified, and walled - in gated communites all secure inside a bowl of fear with guards to keep them all in there. Melting ice and burning forests, blowing dust and screwy weather.   Farmers markers, planting gardens, friends and picnics in the park. Streams and forests, mountains, fields. Oceans, hills and caves so dark. Deserts, valleys, cities, towns. More people than you can believe. Intersections, overpasses, tunnels in the web - we - weave.   Bridge We're all on - a slow moving train. It takes so long to see any change. - The sooner that we get there, - the slower that we go. - and when we get there - - - nobody knows - - -   Someone's in the kitchen. - - Someone's eatin' chicken - - Someone's in the back yard just a pickin' and a grinnin' Someone's into hiking 'round. Someone's star is rising now. Someone says the end is near - Someone says he'll have a beer.   Everywhere there's candles burning, everywhere there's people yearning. . Everywhere there're people too sick. Everywhere there's party music Nice win-dow display belies, the empty retail store inside. - basements flood and towers gleam - all parts of the web - we - weave. Someone's in the kitchen. - - Someone's eatin' chicken - - Someone's in the back yard just a pickin' and a grinnin' Someone's into hiking 'round. Someone's star is rising now.
