So, Whatever Happened to All 'The Biggest Loser' Champs?

For nearly two decades, from 2004 to 2016, The Biggest Loser transformed contestants' bodies—and their lives—and viewers couldn't get enough. After a few years off the air, USA Network rebooted the show in January 2020—with fan favorite Bob Harper as host and more of a focus on overall wellness, not just numbers on a scale.

At the time, Bob promised "a completely different show," telling PEOPLE, "[Contestants] all have voices and will talk about their experiences. The issues they are having can’t be fixed in one episode. I really want to be able to tell stories throughout the season."

Participants on the reboot underwent a much different weight-loss journey than what was shown in the first 17 seasons of the show. They had a team of trainers, a chef, and a life coach. The 12 new contestants learned how to prepare healthier food, participated in group therapy sessions, and worked out with new trainer Erica Lugo. Ultimately, the highest percentage of weight lost still determined the winner.

Since the first reboot season (technically the 18th season of the the show overall) ended in March 2020, there's been no word about a 19th season...yet.
