Origin: Northern parts of the Amazon basin in Colombia, Peru and Brazil.
Diet: Will take all types of life & frozen food, will thrive on any good quality pellet and flake food such as New Life Spectrum pellets.
Heckelii’s are omnivorous by nature. Offer a mixture of live, frozen and dried foods and ensure some vegetable matter, such as blanched spinach or a proprietary Spirulina product, is included.
