SD2 Skirmish maps as of 2/2022

This First Section are Small maps only which means they are maps that only have the small choice they are small There are other maps that have choices of small AND perhaps Medium etc. but this first set ALL of these maps ONLY have the SMALL choice - They are listed in Alphabetical Order.

The Second Section has LARGE ONLY maps these maps only come in LARGE ... each section will have a title that is explained and is self explanatory.

Overview

SMALL MAPS - These maps only come in small - there are other small maps though that come in for example small med large etc.

MEDIUM Only Maps - These maps only come in Medium there are other maps though that come in various sizes including medium

LARGE MAPS - Only maps having only the Large Choice - there are other maps having multiple sizes including large shown later

Let's Cover the Two GREEN ARROW Maps there are two maps with green arrows

MAPS THAT ARE SMALL OR MEDIUM ONLY - TWO MAPS ARE LIKE THIS

SMALL - MED - AND LARGE MAP BREST, WEST - THEN SMALL AND VERY LARGE MAP G.....

THESE 4 MAPS COME IN SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE, AND VERY LARGE

Map below is Bobr Map has a River - Open Areas - Scattered Forest

Map below is Harshaje Map has City in Center some hills scattered forests

Map below is Krupa Map has a River that goes EAST - WEST in Center of Map divides the flags has a lot of dense trees that are in pockets does not have huge dense tree areas only pockets. Has lots of buildings too.

Map below is Kostritsa Map has LARGE dense tree areas impassable by vehicles .... Has a long City on one side of the map depending on which side you are attacking from other side of area from the city is basically and open area. THERE is NO RIVER.

Map below is Orsha, EAST Map has a raised area on a side of the map where come in on and then in ceterish area of map has a raised area with buildings has scattered trees and dense tree pockets NO RIVER Definite "Cliffs" you must manage.

Map below is Orsha, NORTH Map has clumps of dense forest some scattered forest lanes NO RIVER Scattered buildings mostly and is basically a mirror of itself meaning the side that has a raised area there is one across from it also each map edge has the same terrain and buildings on each side of map

Map below is Sianno Map has LAKES - Clumps of Dense Forest - Two main north south roads - Raised areas and scattered towns...

Map below is Slutsk, EAST Map has a giant ISLAND - Each player starts with a river on their side that Y's or splits forming an island with flags on it the other side of the map is open - MANY OF THE FLAGS HAVE NO COVER NEAR THEM.

Map below is Slutsk, WEST Map is mostly open with scattered city areas NO WATER Many unprotected flags ... Has raised hill areas.

Map below is Tsel Map has a giant U shaped river that causes each player to have to cross a river in friendly territory and the river more less is confined to one side of the map. The other side of the map has a long road that runs north south directly to enemy territory Has a raised area moreless in center of map and raised area on one side of map... LOTS OF CLUMPS OF DENSE TREES TO HIDE IN.

MEDIUM Only Maps - These maps only come in Medium there are other maps though that come in various sizes including medium

Map below is Beshankovichy Map has a River that branches depending on which side you attack from the river must be crossed in many areas or divides the map then must be crossed one edge of the map has no river just roads and scattered trees and buildings. Many open areas some unprotected flags clumps of dense woods, scattered woods and buildings.

Map below is Bobrujsk, WEST Map has a raised area in center with buildings and clumps of dense forest the map mirrors itself meaning what is on one side of the map is basically on the other side of the map some unprotected flags and a raised area behind the lines for each player.

Map below is Autobahn zur Holle Map has north south roads and railroad tracks in center is city on one side and clumps of dense forest on other side map mostly mirrors itself has raised areas

Map below is Narath Lake Raised areas in center with roads and cities inbetween UNIQUE MAP - map is more unique compared to similarities of all the others ... the amount of water makes map smaller a couple of small lakes in the map to lots of open areas.

Map below is Smolyany Another Unique map compared to most has a river on one side with exposed flag bridges that isolates other flags in a land mass ... has raised area in center with woods then a city area large size way away from the river finally has some lakes scattered about ...

MEDIUM MAP SECOND LAKE area mostly affects one side other side has north south roads with raised area

SECOND IS MEDIUM MAP One edge has raised areas with impassible cliffs rest of map is same as small map ...

THIRD MAP IS LARGE One side of map has a city the other side has the raised area with impassible cliffs then the map has the lakes and rivers with unprotected flags in center .. Interesting map ...

MEDIUM SECOND Map is turned from the way the small map is - Center Lakes and Town are turned - so the city is in the zone of one of the players sides then the lakes ...

ZBUCZYN SMALL FIRST City in Center - each side has a raised area behind enemy lines - clumps of dense forests with scattered tree lanes inbetween - zero water

MEDIUM SECOND Now the map as compared to the small one has a city on one edge in a raised area and the other city is towards the other edge map has lots of roads ...

LARGE Brest, West River still in center mostly one edge has city other edge has trees Protected and unprotected flags ...

VERY LARGE Size - Gira Kalwania - River is now on one side of map - City is on the other - screen shot was taken close up which hides some of map but enables the viewer to see it closer ...
