Life Style: The moth has been found from March to August. The larvae feed on bracket fungi but may also be found in stored vegetable products.

Identification: The moth is distinguished from similarly marked Nemapogon species in having a white head. There are sometimes brown scales at the side. The ground colour of the wings is also white with no hint of ochre. More Info
