Truman
2017: One of nine Bulldogs to appear in all 17 of the team's games as he logged 15 starts and a total of 1,276 minutes played (third on the team) ... Registered a SOG percentage of 77.8 as seven of his nine total shots were on target ... started the team's first 15 games of the season before coming off the bench in the final two ... played all 90 minutes of a game nine times including five straight matches from Sept. 24-Oct. 8 ... named Academic All-GLVC ... recipient of the GLVC Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award for achieving a 4.0 grade point average.

2016: Appeared in 12 of the team's 17 matches including 10 starts with a total of 965 minutes played ... named the team's James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award nominee on Nov. 3 ... the student-athletes chosen for that award are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior ... these individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting ... back to competition, Nivala registered one assist as a redshirt sophomore and it came against William Jewell on Sept. 30 when he helped Craig McLaurine give the Bulldogs a 2-0 advantage in the 28th minute ... three of his five shots were on goal ... named Academic All-GLVC.

2015: Saw action in nine games with five starts for a total of 593 minutes or an average of 65.9 minutes per match ... registered one assist and it came against Saint Joseph's (Indiana) on Sept. 27 ... his helper aided a score from Trevor Kaufmann and put the Bulldogs up 2-0 before they won by a final of 2-1 ... named all-Academic GLVC.

2014: Redshirted ... named Academic all-Great Lakes Valley Conference.
