Summer in Lapland is intense, as the sun never sets between mid-May and early August. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean scorching heat: the weather is perfect for hiking in the fells, day and night if you wish. The summer season ends with ruska, the autumnal burst of foliage colours. This is the most popular time for hiking, but there are plenty of other experiences and activities to choose from as well!
