AcidoGen – AQ

AcidoGen – AQ

Acidifier & Growth Promoter

Dietary acidifiers in fish and shrimp exhibit their effects in gastrointestinal tract as antimicrobial agent and provide acidic
environment for the better action of enzymes. Similarly, it can support the energy production through directly entering into
metabolic pathway. In aqua feed, the addition of organic acids can serve as antimicrobial agent and can extend the storage
of feeds.

Composition:

Blend of organic acids (Acetic acid, Propionic acid, Butyric acid, Fumaric acid, Formic acid)

Benefits:

  • Acidifiers can improve gut morphology along with stimulation, secretion and activation of the digestive enzymes by
lowering the pH of the digesta of stomach and foregut of many fish species.
  • Short chain organic acids can provide acidic pH in the GIT which can stimulate the activation of enzymes like pepsin
and other pancreatic enzymes and enhance digestion.
  • Organic acids also helps in improved hydrolysis of protein there by leading to overall increase in nutrient digestibility.
  • Organic acids, especially short chain fatty acids have considerable amount of energy stored in themselves, hence also
    serve as good energy source

Usage:

AcidoGen-AQ can be used in feed along with a suitable binder.

The recommended level is 3 to 4 Kg per ton of feed depending upon the moisture level
or as advised by aquaculture specialist.

Presentation:

Powder: 25 kg bag
