If you think misbehaving teenagers and dumb criminals are the only ones busted by social media, think again.
It looks like a photo posted to Instagram may have caught President Obama - a self-described former smoker who uses nicotine gum - lighting up with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. The image was posted to the social media site by Renzi's spokesman and shows the two men on a balcony. Obama appears to have a small package in his hand and is poised to pull out something from the top.
Or at least that's what it looks like.

The image has set off a flurry of online speculation, including the guaranteed-to-be controversial piece from the Washington Post titled "Let President Obama have a cigarette, already."
"If he's not smoking on camera, if he's not passing out Marlboros at the White House Halloween party, let him have an occasional cigarette," the Post's Philip Bump wrote.
