A Lindsay Lohan Look-Alike Created Looks From The Parent Trap on TikTok

The resemblance is freaking everyone out.

I don't know what it is about celebrity look-alikes that gets people so viscerally excited, but the internet's latest discovery is certainly no exception. Grace Kroells, an 18-year-old from Minnesota, has only been making TikTok videos since March. Still, she's quickly nearing 100,000 followers, thanks to her absolutely uncanny likeness to Lindsay Lohan.

Just like Lohan, Kroells has naturally vivid ginger hair, pale skin with freckles, and big, almond-shaped blue eyes. So when her TikTok followers started mistaking her for a younger Lohan, she put her likeness to the test by re-enacting several scenes from The Parent Trap, complete with accurate outfits, hairstyles, and poses. The video earned her more than a million views in a week. "I have gotten [the comparison] randomly my whole life, but it really became apparent with the TikToks," Kroells tells Allure. "It's awesome seeing how much people enjoy the recreations."

And people really, really enjoy the re-enactment. Here are just a couple of the top comments on that video:

As loads of Gen Z and millennials kids did, Kroells grew up watching Lohan's movies, so the comparison is wholly welcome. "I could probably quote all of The Parent Trap; that was my favorite movie," she recalls. A couple of followers have requested she recreate looks from Freaky Friday and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, but being a Lohan look-alike isn't something Kroells wants to be exclusively known for (like some other celebrity look-alikes and cosplayers on the app). "I definitely love to make my own content, but it is very flattering and I love her movies," Kroells explains. A totally fair choice, but she would look awesome in that iconic, inside-out graphic tee.
