Temperament: The Zebra Pleco is a shy and nocturnal species, and may be territorial over small spaces.

Company: Best kept by itself, but will tolerate peaceful tank mates.

Aquarium Setup: The Zebra Pleco prefers a rocky bottom with fast flowing, well oxygenated water. Must have many hiding places created among rock and driftwood.
