Echinodorus angustifolius forms long, narrow leaves in the aquarium,
but their length varies greatly, depending on growth conditions. It readily
forms side shoots, and in time will spread all round the aquarium. In order to
keep it in groups in a particular area, simply pinch off the shoots and re-plant
them in the chosen area.
