This is quite a common tetra in the LFS.
Appreciate if someone can help me put a name on it. TIA

This should be the glass bloodfin. Better known as Prionobrama filigera. Matured male speciments has extended anal fins with a white streak extending from the first ray to the tip of the anal fin.

Not an easy subject to shoot. Very good control of lighting here!

    CHeers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Thanks. Oh, so this the male? I was thinking why some of them have a white streak on the anal fins.

When the lights hit the scales at a certain angle, it will give off a blue iridescence. Tend to be overlooked in the LFS.

Have got a shoal of these, in my opinion a very under-rated fish! Easy to care for and very active in the tank.
