Ugh, the penalty box. Not where you want to be.

We’ve seen hockey players throw temper tantrums, we’ve seen them smash cameras. We’ve seen the hung head after the opposition pots a power-play tally, and we’ve seen their coaches shake their head with distaste.

It’s not all bad though, at least it’s a time for the players to have some great moments with fans.

We aren’t talking about Tie Domi literally fighting a fan in the penalty box this time (although, we would love to talk more about that). We’re talking about something a little more wholesome involving Finnish Player Urho Vaakananein and a Canada fan during Finland’s pre-tournament win at the World Juniors.

Finland's Urho Vaakanainen signs an autograph for a 🇨🇦 fan while in the sin bin 😅

Vaakananein wasn’t about to throw a temper tantrum, he signs an autograph for the Canadian! It’s possible that the 4-2 score with less than a minute remaining could have something to do with his generosity, but we’d like to think he’s just a good guy.

Once the tournament actually starts we may not see players being so nice.
