American Idol season 4 finalist Constantine Maroulis was arrested again on Sunday after “accidentally” violating a restraining order, a rep for the singer confirmed.
“He accidentally emailed her which broke the restraining order and he was arrested and immediately released,” the rep told Billboard. “It was not a personal email — it was a pure accident.”
‘American Idol’ Alum Constantine Maroulis Arrested for Domestic Violence
Maroulis was arrested Aug. 12 after an altercation with the mother of his child, Angel Reed. She accused him of pushing her to the ground and kicking her, and he said it was self-defense after she threw things at him and injured his leg.
Maroulis also filed a restraining order against Reed, the rep confirmed.

The email in question was written to the singer’s lawyers detailing the events that led to the couple’s fight, but he cc’d her and clicked send, the rep said.
Maroulis finished in sixth place on American Idol in 2005. He went on to star on Broadway in Rock of Ages and Jekyll and Hyde.
