It is the closest beach to Tochni and Kalavasos, great for those who want to go for a bike ride and stop for a swim.

It is a short straight coastline with dark sand, the entry to the water is very shallow. This beach is suitable for for families and is not crowded, even during the high season.

This beach has, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurants, changing rooms and toilets. During the main season, a lifeguard supervises this beach line.

Governor’s Beach

It is located only a 10 minutes drive from us, the beach is separated by three different bays, each with a thin strip of dark grey sand. There you can find multiple restaurants and beach bars. The nearby Kalymnos beach offers a small bay for swimming and white boulders line the shore.

This beach is near Limassol town, this 5 km coastal stretch of stunning, calm seawaters, dark grey sands and shallow waters runs along the east side of Akrotiri. It is a sandy beach with dark grey/golden sand. Seashells can be found along the beach. It’s a safe choice for families – sunbeds with shades can be rented, a lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets, showers, and there are a couple of well known restaurants, beach clubs and cafés scattered along the length of shore.

One of the most unique feature of Zappalo beach is the natural rock formations that line the shorelie. These formations have been sculpted by the sea over thousands of years and create a dramatic backdrop against the blue waters. The sharp rocks, filled with falcon nests, make up the unique, wild charm of the setting at Zapalo beach.

Reaching the beach may be a challenge, due to the uneven ground. One can access it by climbing down the dirt road on foot, or with a kayak or a boat from the nearby Kourion beach.
