Emmerdale star Charley Webb looks flawless in a chic black mini skirt as she discusses cruel online trolling

Emmerdale star Charley Webb looked flawless as she joined Loose Women on Friday to discuss cruel online trolls.

The actress, 35, wore a chic black mini skirt with a fitted top that featured scooping neckline for her appearance.

After joining the soap as Debbie Dingle when she was 14-years-old, Charley explained how her experience 'would have been a different story' had social media been around at the time.

She also gave an insight into how she deals with rude comments after recently being skinny-shamed on Instagram.

Speaking on the show, Charley said: 'I tend to just not respond to people because actually when they say these things they just want a response.'

The actress continued: 'But I think it gets to a point where, I think I'm lucky I have quite a thick skin, but not everyone has. I worry for children and I worry for other people, I worry for everyone.

I would have been a whole different story I don't know if I could have done it actually. The whole is so different now, when I joined it was just about being an actor and doing what you loved. '

It comes after Charley hit back at skinny-shaming trolls after sharing a light-hearted dance video.

The Emmerdale star took to her comments section on Instagram after a horrid slew of remarks suggested her legs could 'snap.'

The actress had depicted her 'Bank holiday beautiful chaos', kicking off with a video of her dancing to Rihanna's What's My Name?

Charley appeared in good spirits as she danced along to the track in a black knit dress with semi sheer tights and brown Ugg boots.

Committing to her performance, she tied her brunette locks back into a bun and swung her hips whilst holding a microphone.

She was joined by a friend who was also eager to show off her moves.

She wrote in her caption: 'At my friends BBQ celebrating another year of them with the same old moves.'

However, the playful scenes prompted some unwanted trolls, with one writing: 'Looks like those legs could snap any minute.'

Another put: 'Charley you are gorgeous... but you're all skin and bone,; while another wrote, 'Bandy legs.'

Yet Charley - and her fans - were quick to react.

One fan called out the troll and wrote: 'So.. posts a video having fun, she's "too thin"; posts ads, too many ads; potentially puts weight on, must be pregnant; pics of kids, shouldn't expose them; no pics, "where've you gone"!! Is it any wonder people feel they can do no right!'

The actress was quick to reply, writing, 'Innit,' along with a peace sign Emoji icon.
