Daddy's girl! Eric Bana's daughter Sophia is following in her famous father's footsteps by getting into show business
Eric Bana is one of Australia's most successful actors having starred alongside the likes of Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman.
And now, his 18-year-old daughter Sophia is set to follow in his footsteps by getting into showbusiness.
In an interview with the Daily Telegraph at the premiere of Eric's latest flick The Dry, Sophia explained that she has enrolled in a dance course at university.

'I am about to go into full-time dance at uni,' she told the publication. 'I really have no idea where it's going to go.'
As for whether her famous dad has given her any advice about getting into the business, Sophia admits that she tries not to 'lean on him' too much.
'He doesn't really talk about it too much. I am just trying to figure it out myself, I don't want to lean on him too much. If I had any questions I could ask,' she added.

But the pair have kept their children relatively out of the spotlight while growing up, and Sophia is 'glad' they did.
'I am very glad they did that because growing up would have been very different,' she admits.

The Dry was filmed across more than 20 regional towns in rural Victoria last year, and Eric said he was excited to bring the best-selling novel to life without leaving the country.
'Being able to film in regional Victoria was really, really special and not having to sit on a plane for 20 hours, and that sort of thing, it did feel fantastic,' he said.
