WHILE one of Girls Aloud has got married, it’s sadly splitsville for another of the ladies.
We can reveal that Nicola Roberts has called time on her six-year-relationship with Dubai-born barman and businessman Charlie Fennell.
The pair have always been keen to avoid the spotlight but were sometimes pictured on nights out.
However, they hadn’t been seen in public together for more than a year.
And a source told us: “Nicola and Charlie split at the tail end of last year.
“They just kind of grew apart. They had a great run but they both felt their relationship had come to an end.
“Nicola is really enjoying being single again. She’s been back out partying loads and is really enjoying making new friends.
“She’s definitely still single, and she’s not looking to settle down soon.
“Especially now she’s back in the studio working on new material – she’s really focusing on her career right now.”
The source added: “She’s really happy at the moment and they have both moved on.”
At 28, Nicola has always been the baby of the group but she settled down before most of the girls.
She and Charlie moved into a house in Weybridge, Surrey, in 2010, as Nicola gushed: “I’ve lived with boyfriends before but it’s never felt like this.”
And they had two pug dogs, Ronnie and Reggie, who she referred to as their “substitute sons”.
Bandmate Nadine Coyle gave birth to a daughter, Anaiya, in February this year, and Kimberley Walsh is pregnant with her first child with long-term boyfriend Justin Scott.
Sarah Harding is dating DJ Mark One and Cheryl Cole tied the knot with her playboy boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini earlier this month.
Nicola has often spoken about having children, saying in 2011: “I want masses of them.”
But this year she said of starting a family: “It’s in my future but not in my near future.”
