Pierce Brosnan is unrecognisable in pictures from the set of his new movie The Rifleman.
The star has aged significantly for the new role, sporting a balding, grey wig and matching eyebrows as well as facial prosthetics, as he gets into character to play 89-year-old World War II veteran Artie Crawford.
The movie follows Artie who escapes from his care home in Northern Ireland following the death of his wife. On the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, he embarks on a journey to France to pay his final respects to his best friend, who lost his life on June 6, 1944.
The Rifleman is inspired by a true story about Bernard Jordan, who made the pilgrimage to France in 2014.
The movie also features Normal People's Desmond Eastwood, Watchmen's Louis Gossett Jr, and Derry Girls' Claire Rafferty.
When he's not playing elderly men, he's playing superheroes – as the former James Bond star is playing Kent Nelson, also known as Dr Fate, in the upcoming Worlds of DC outing, Black Adam.

Kent Nelson is the son of an archeologist who was taught sorcery skills and given the magical Helmet of Fate.
Dwayne Johnson, who is playing the titular role in the movie, has been teasing appearances from Superman and Shazam as their stories were entwined in the source material. But it's now been confirmed that a crossover won't happen (for now).
"Our movie is an original story," director Jaume Collet-Serra recently told Deadline. "By the time the movie ends, [Black Adam] doesn't know who Shazam or Superman is."
This will come as a bit of a blow for fans who were expecting a crossover, but it means there will be a lot more new characters to get to know.
Black Adam is set for release in cinemas on October 21, 2022.
