Pierce Brosnan’s transformation for his new movie has been seen for the first time.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the James Bond actor has been cast in upcoming film Giant, which is a biopic about boxing champion Prince Naseem Hamed.
The Crown’s Amir El-Masry will play the famous boxer in the lead role, while Brosnan will play Irish steel worker-turned-boxing trainer Brendan Ingle, who coached Prince Naseem during his career.
Digital Spy has obtained an image of Brosnan on the set of the movie, which shows his impressive transformation to get into character.

In the photo, the actor looks almost unrecognisable with white hair and glasses, and is all smiles for the camera, posing in a boxing stance.
Giant will track Sheffield-born Prince Naseem’s rise to fame – with the boxer known for his flamboyant entrances to the ring – and will also examine the racism and Islamophobia that was present in the UK during the 1990s.
The film is written and directed by Gangs of London and The Rise’s Rowan Athale, and Sylvester Stallone is also on board as one of the executive producers.
This isn’t Brosnan’s only new movie role, as this week it was revealed that the actor has been cast in the film adaptation of Richard Osman’s book The Thursday Murder Club.

Speaking on his and Marina Hyde’s podcast The Rest Is Entertainment this week, Osman announced that Brosnan will play Ron Ritchie in the upcoming film.
He said: "Ron is going to be played by – I’m going to say the most handsome man in the world, so he’s going to have to dull himself down a bit… Pierce Brosnan."
Cast alongside Brosnan are Helen Mirren, as Elizabeth Best, and Sir Ben Kingsley, who will play Ibrahim Arif.
The final of the four crime-fighting pensioners from Coopers Chase Retirement Village, Joyce Meadowcroft, is yet to be cast.
Giant is currently in production and doesn’t yet have a release date.
