    Good value for the price.

    Even though this has just 35 watts output, the volume is strong and the bass is incredible!. This sounds much better than a twice as powerful and twice as expensive unit.

    Excellent Classic Receiver

    The Sony STR 7065 and STR 7055 are superb receivers. These were protected line products usually sold along side the likes of McIntosh and Crown hifi gear. Years ago at a McIntosh clinic my Sony STR 7065 surpassed the FTC power requirements impressing the McIntosh staff. Sound, build quality and flexibility are all top tier. The dial face is glass, not plastic, real veneers are used on the cabinet and the knobs are spun from solid aluminum stock.
