EXCELLENT little player
First, I'm not really sure why eBay separated these players by color. There is no difference between any of the colors. The same basic player is available with 512meg, 1gig or 2gig of memory, and will support the two most common types of file formats for playback - MP3 and WMA (also WMA with DRM). My 1gig holds about 250 songs. The nicest thing about this player is the fact that it needs NO software or drivers for Windows 2000/XP, and 98 users just need the drivers. When plugged in, the computer simply sees the player as another drive, not a device. You can use the player just like a thumb drive or floppy disc (remember those things?)
The player itself seems very rugged for it's small size - less than 1 inch cube! I've bumped mine around a bit and I haven't even managed to scratch the cool little screen yet. With a bit of care this thing should last for years.
There are certainly better earbuds and headphones available as far as sound quality, but the ones that come with this unit are fairly good. The headphones are also the antenna for the radio, and for whatever reason the included earbuds pull in stations much better than anything else I've tried. Also, they double as a neck strap so you can just wear the player on your chest.
The good: It is very small and well built. 10 hour life on the built in rechargeable battery. FM tuner that really works. MP3 & WMA support. It has a real equalizer to adjust the sound. It doubles as a thumb drive to transfer ANY type of files from computer to computer. Surprisingly bright and readable screen. Can record from the radio. Plus it is cheaper than an iPud.
The bad: It is small enough to loose easily, and children could choke on it. I'm not sure if the built in battery is replaceable, but you aren't going to do it yourself. iPud users will be jealous and hate you for having it.Read full review...
Mobiblu Cube
We actually bought this cube for my son who kept talking about getting an iPod. Mobiblu's cube is super tiny, weighs nothing and still holds 500 songs which is more than enough for a 10 year old. Songs are easy to download and get into the cube as well. I have borrowed it for work outs at the gym and it was great. I just pop the cube in my top so it doesn't bounce around. You're hands free and listening to high quality music at the same time. I just ordered one for myself.I would highly recommend it to anybody who just wants to listen to music. It does have a radio feature on it but we have yet to find anyplace where it gets reception. So if you're buying it for it's radio feature, don't waste your time.Read full review...
Great player, terrible support!
the good: damn small, draws a lot of attention, pretty good sound quality, lots of features despite its size, easy to use file navigation.
the bad: too bad if ur player stopped workin... customer support is almost non existent,
it sez u can upgrade the firmware... best not to try it.chances are u'll end up screwing the player,
clock display not useful as it works only when the music is paused

Fantastic little player! Better than expected.
When I first saw the Mobiblu Cube, I knew I had to have it. I told my husband if he got me just one thing I wanted for Christmas, it had to be the Cube. The size is great, at one inch square. I love the color choices (orange was what seduced me). The capacity is pretty good. The sound from the earbuds is exceptional. The aqua-on-black screen is RAZOR sharp. And darn it, it's just cool as hell!
As long as you read the manual, so you know how to use the controls, the Cube is quite easy to use. The device is truly plug'n'play on my 2002 Windows XP PC. As soon as I connected the USB cable, the computer immediately recognized it as a mass storage device (you can also use it as a jump drive). It couldn't have been easier!
The Cube is all I dreamed it would be, and more. And it is VERY, VERY rare to hear me say that! The only drawback, if I had to come up with one, is the dearth of accessories, like skins and neck cords. And having other vendors besides Wal*Mart would lower the price; maybe they'll do that in the future.Read full review...
excellent MP3 Player
I love this player because of how small it is, yet it also has a lot of memory. I also enjoy the FM transmitter and the voice recorder. The LED display is what really sold me on this player. I had an Ipod shuffle before this and was sick and tired of never knowing what song was playing. Now I can do the shuffle mode and look at the screen to find out what song it is!! Cube MP3 Player is still hot
When the Cube player came out, it was one of the smallest MP3 players available. It had 512 MB of memory, and it was cool looking. We bought one for $99 for one daughter for her birthday, and then another daughter wanted one, so we got the second one for about the same price. When Christmas came around last year, however, the cube was no longer being sold at WalMart.com, but a third daughter wanted one (we have five girls, so I may be getting two more eventually!) Newer products had pushed the Cube out of the popular market, and so it was hard to find one. Thankfully, I found it on ebay, and was able to get the 1GB version for less than I had paid for the first two with less memory.
Now we have three of these things, and the girls really love them. They get radio stations, play music, and even record. One of my daughters takes voice lessons, and she is able to record herself and then listen to it easily. And even with the newer gadgets around, their friends still think these girls' Cubes are really cool. And I have not seen any MP3 players out there with such a bright display. The OLED screen is fabulous. I'm surprised there hasn't been more utilization of it in other products.Read full review...
CRAZY SMALL
when i first heard about this item i was amazed. i was like woah! this thing is as small as a dice. so looked online for a cube really quickly and i found one on walmart.com. the price was decent so i bought one. when i received it in the mail i was amazed at the package. it was in a bigger size box of what the mp3 player is . the box was amazing and funny. when i opened it up, everything was there. headphones connector. easy to use. its pretty loud and you get good hearing. they give you this cool headphone thing that you were around your neck so you dont have to carry it around in your pocket it will always be on you. well good product overallRead full review...
heavy weight yet so small
very nice! i can load a lot of songs. very convenient too. just drag and drop. easy to manipulate. the included headphones are nice too. just hang in your neck and it doesn't get tangled with anything else.
i love that i'm able to record my voice giving myself little reminders when i am not able to use my treo or when i am driving. awesome!

Wow , My kids all got Ipods, so Dad wanted something different. As usual, I found it on Ebay...Neat little mp3 player, and even I can run it. My kids think its way cooler than thier Ipod that I paid twice as much for. Of course I bought them on Ebay too.
