The course consists of 18 holes set in a picturesque forest and field environment. The fairways are bordered by woods, bunkers, and ponds, creating an interesting and challenging course.
It should be enjoyable to play even if you don't hit the ball that far. For example, from tee 1, the total length will be 3300 meters, while from tee 4, it will be approximately 5800 meters," says Mats Wahlin, chairman at Eckerö Golf.
One of the defining features of Eckerö Golf is that the course is flat and easy to walk. The first nine holes are set in an open landscape, while the last nine holes wind through the forest.
"You experience great variations in both nature and wildlife while walking the course," adds Wahlin, mentioning that players may encounter pheasants, deer, sea eagles, marmots, and serene ponds during their rounds.
You can take a break before, after, or between rounds of golf at the reception, where there is a kiosk offering coffee, ice cream, beer, sandwiches, and more.

Eckerö Golf offers an 18-hole course, a small clubhouse with a reception, a new practice area for short games, a putting green, and a driving range with both grass tees and mats.
The course is designed for all golfers of all skill levels, with four different tees. This allows beginners, juniors, and others to play at a level that suits their abilities. While the course offers challenges for the average golfer, the last nine forest holes are particularly suitable for elite golfers. It's the diverse and finely manicured greens that add to the overall appeal.
Stay near the golf course
Stay comfortably near the course in one of Eckerö Golf's five charming small cottages, all located on the golf course. Each cottage has its own unique charm and can accommodate 2-4 guests. All cottages are equipped with a kitchenette or kitchen, and most have their own toilet and shower (with some featuring a separate building for these facilities).
