"I own this MP5, after reading the reviews and questions about this gun I actually have no issues with it, then again if I did it wouldn't really bother me cause I actually didn't buy it from any store. I traded for it, new gun for new gun. I'm trying to remember the gun I had, I remember I got it from a BOA, (base box) it was a emg that had a mag that looked like a ARP9 mag and the stock was fitted next to the buffer tube. Anyway I'm kinda glad I didn't have to pay that much for it. One more thing, didn't even buy the BOA, traded a boneyard avalon that I had just sitting around.

External build quality is great, but internals are sub-par, at best. With 11.1 the trigger response is okay and the ROF is okay. I plan on upgrading the internals, and with that in mind, I would get a cheaper version and build it. This is not worth the money.

"So while I haven't fielded this yet, I can say that it performs well enough out of the box on a Titan 7.4 LiPo. The hopup is a small push/pull lever and once working has a nice adjustment range. Shoots rather far with a nice fire rate and quite accurately, as well.

HOWEVER, my review is only 2 stars for a few reasons:
1) The battery connector is not Deans as advertised, it is a standard Small Tamiya. I basically voided my warranty to replace this so I could use an 11.1 Titan, but I planned on using this as a project gun anyway.
2) The "Limited Edition Red Trigger" has a longer pull than even a stock entry-level M4, and has a rather low quality (already peeling) paint job with seam on it to boot.
3) The gearbox somehow ate part of the spur gear, rendering the gun completely useless until I find replacements. I have no idea how this even happened, and my warranty was already voided by the Deans connector. The internals themselves are also bog-standard.

Overall, save the $20 on licensing marks (and painted-on airsoft warning) and spend an extra $10 to get a CYMA Platinum SMG9 and a full stock than spend your cash on this overpriced project gun.
