No, both sexes get the black line by the eye. The shape of the dorsal fin and the start of colouration in the caudal fin give away the males. Plus the males also get more yellow in the pectoral fins and less defined black rays on the front edge of the dorsal.
Once they are adult though and in breeding colour it gets much easier:
