Brad Pitt Puts on His Sexiest Sexy-Man Voice, Tries to Sell You Perfume. Buying It?

Sorry to steal your thunder, lovely fragrance spokesladies like Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively, but one of the most iconic fragrances ever has a new face, and it has a much more chiseled jawline than yours.

Sorry to steal your thunder, lovely fragrance spokesladies like Kristen Stewart and Blake Lively, but one of the most iconic fragrances ever has a new face, and it has a much more chiseled jawline than yours.

For the first time in its 91-year history, Chanel No. 5 has anointed a male spokesperson: one Mr. Brad Pitt.

"To keep a legend fresh, you always have to change its point of view," Chanel fragrance and beauty president Andrea d'Avack explained to Women's Wear Daily. "It is the first time we've had a man speaking about a women's fragrance. We think very much that the perfume is a seduction between a man, a woman and the perfume." WWD also reports that Brad pocketed a sweet $7 million for the gig.

So what will Chanel's Brad ads look like? Over at le Chanel YouTube page, the brand posted these little teaser clips for the commercial, which is set to debut October 15. I have to admit, they make me giggle rather than swoon, but I'm assuming the actual commercial won't be as awkward as these little snippets.

Oh Brad. We'd know that voice--and that mane--anywhere. But will Brad Pitt's voice make the ladies crave Chanel No. 5? What do you ladies think of the idea of Brad selling fragrance? Do you think his voice will seduce you into trying on this classic scent once the full commercial is revealed?
