Olivia Palermo has officially mastered the military look. During the colder seasons, she loves olive green jackets, structured coats with lots of gold buttons, leather boots and, of course, the chunky-soled loafers that she particularly loves wearing with sweet ankle socks.
Like many other fashion girlies, Olivia has found a loyal companion in her loafers – which she teams with everything from mini skirts to jeans (and her chic French bob haircut, bien sur).
This time, she combined a multi-tonal pair with a midi skirt, a black sweater and a long black coat with military buttons. To top off the look, she added her Hermès Mini Kelly bag, accessorised with a pretty twilly scarf.
Elsewhere in Olivia Palermo's loafer collection, we know she also owns a chunky buckled pair, some chic metallic silver numbers and a classic brown tasseled pair that she's been snapped running errands in. Chic.
And she's not alone in her sock styling – the likes of Hailey Bieber, Gigi Hadid and Zoë Kravitz all prefer their loafers with an ankle warmer, too. Consider us convinced.
