Rachel Bilson, darling of The O.C. and now Hart of Dixie, has admitted that partying like mad during her younger years helped her avoid the pitfalls of fame when she hit the big time.

In an interview with Health magazine, the actress revealed that she didn't become a wild child when she became a celebrity, because she "grew up in L.A. and did all that when I was younger. I went to the clubs and did all the drugs and alcohol".

Unlike her O.C. co-star, Mischa Barton, who was a regular on the party scene back in her heydey, Bilson said that by the time she became famous as Summer Roberts in the hit teen drama, she was settled down with her then-boyfriend Adam Brody (aka Seth).

"I got it out of my system, so by the time I was on The O.C., I was like, 'Wow, I can just enjoy this.' Then I started dating a co-star, so it was more of a domesticated thing; you're just home or with friends-and not out to party."

Rachel also revealed that now she was super settled and happy with her current squeeze Hayden Christensen, and that she wanted to have kids "in the next few years", telling the magazine:

"He's so incredibly supportive and considerate. It's so basic-that should be there. Because these things are so much more important when you're older. I've been in my relationship for seven years, so we've grown up together in a way. This is my partner, my support, just there for me no matter what. And vice versa."

And she also revealed, some, er, interesting facts about her diet - including an addiction to Flamin' Hot Cheetos:

<p class="Pa5">"I've actually gotten better this year. It got to a

point where I was eating them so much that, like, you poop red

every day! You're like, 'OK, I don't know what's going

through my body, but I probably should stop. There are problems.'"

she added.

Note to self: Avoid spicy, red-coloured crisps in the future.
