Dublin, Ireland, has just won several awards at the World Travel Awards. The Guinness Stourehouse, a museum dedicated entirely to the Guinness empire, was voted Europe’s top attraction! But that’s not all: the establishment also won the title of best beer-related tourist experience. A real source of pride for the Irish capital, which has made the Guinness Storehouse a must-see attraction!

Guinness Storehouse at the pinnacle of European tourism!

A museum that has beaten such prestigious landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the Colosseum!

Each year, the World Travel Awards are an opportunity to compare the greatest tourist sites, and determine the most attractive of the year. And the Guinness Museum created a surprise!

It was part of a highly competitive category that also included the Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace, Rome’s Colosseum, the Acropolis, the Sagrada Família, Dublin’s EPIC Museum and Northern Ireland’s Game of Thrones Studio Tour.

But for the World Travel Awards, the Guinness Storehouse was the big winner of this 2023 edition. For them, the establishment offers an immersive experience around the world of Ireland’s most famous stout:

Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s number 1 tourist attraction, offers Guinness enthusiasts the chance to discover the history, heart and soul of Ireland’s most iconic beer.
A visit to the House of Guinness includes a behind-the-scenes look at brewing a perfect pint of Black Stuff, an exhibition and cinema room dedicated to vintage Guinness advertising, and the chance to enjoy a pint in the Gravity. Bar while enjoying the best view in Dublin.

A glowing, glowing description!

But that’s not all! In Europe’s Leading Beer Tour Visitor Experience 2023 category, Guinness Storehouse also beat off the competition. Among the nominees were prestigious addresses such as Heineken Experience in the Netherlands, Beck’s Brewery in Germany, Budweiser Budvar Brewery in the Czech Republic, and Stella Artois Brewery in Belgium.

But it was the Guinness Museum in The Liberties that took the prize!

It’s an achievement for Guinness and the Diageo group, which has been operating the museum for several years.

Three other Irish sites also won top prizes at the World Travel Awards 2023. They include :

  • Luttrellstown Castle Resort named best luxury wedding resort in Europe 2023
  • The Convention Centre Dublin named Europe’s best meeting and conference center 2023
  • and Jameson Distillery Bow St. Martin. has been named Europe’s best whisky discovery attraction.
