So what's the deal with the upside down building? That's typically what people say as they drive past Broadway at the Beach. This building is, WonderWorks, and its full of wonderful oddities and interactive exhibits that will challenge your mind and spark your imagination!

Our First Time Experience at WonderWorks
My husband and I have lived in the Myrtle Beach area for most of our lives and have never been to WonderWorks. At first, we thought it was just for kids, but we had so much fun!
There were definitely moments we split off and did our own thing since we were so transfixed by all there was to do!
When you first walk in you go through the colorful spinning tunnel (to turn you right side up of course).
WonderWorks is then divided into different "Wonder Zones" for you to take part in:
Extreme Weather Zone
Physical Challenge Zone
Space Discovery Zone
Wonder Art Gallery
Light & Sound Zone
Imagination Lab
Out of all the Wonder Zones, I'd say our favorite would have to be the Physical Challenge Zone, it was competitive, action-packed and really got us moving and grooving. A close second would be the Space Discovery Zone. We are really big into space and all its wonders.
One of my favorite moments, was doing the pitch simulator in the Physical Challenge Zone. I played softball for 13+ years so this really brought back some memories for me. I was so dialed in and focused Bruce had to tell me there was a line starting to form behind me for this game!
Also in the Physical Challenge Zone, there is a virtual reality game that Bruce just had to try. He has never done virtual reality before and I think it was more entertaining for me than for him. It was so funny to see him waving his arms around fighting off the enemies and getting really into it.
On top of all these activities, they also have a Glow-In-The-Dark Indoor Ropes Course, Laser Tag Arena, and a 6D XD Simulator Ride. Next time, we'll have to do the Indoor Ropes Course, it looks super fun!
WonderWorks is so great at separating the different zones, everything is themed and colored according to the type of activities hosted in each section.
If you are looking for even more adventure, they have their "Soar and Explore" Zipline and Ropes Course. The zipline is located right next to WonderWorks, and has you soaring 50 feet above water. The ropes course stands a staggering 40 feet tall and spans three levels.
They consistently make updates to keep all the exhibits fun and entertaining so any time you go will be a great time to visit!
