The Peter Rabbit character fans have come to know and love from the Beatrix Potter stories has received a modern makeover.

Peter regularly raids the vegetable garden maintained by gruff Old Mr. McGregor (Sam Neill), aided by his sisters Flopsy (Margot Robbie), Mopsy (Elizabeth Debicki) and Cotton-Tail (Daisy Ridley).
But when McGregor's heir, nephew Thomas (Domhnall Gleeson), shows up, he faces off against the animals.
The family film, directed by Will Gluck (Easy A), and also starring Rose Byrne in a live-action role, is in theaters now.
