In Timitra near Lieksa centre, in connection to the Lieksa border guard facilities, the Rajaperinnetalo offers an authentic look at the history of border guarding. The photos, artifacts and documents take you back in time – guiding is also available with advance booking. The Rajaperinnetalo is open in July, other times by appointment.
