„Deutschland braucht mehr DEUTZ!“ Dieser Satz aus der Rede von Hendrik Wüst, Ministerpräsident des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, MdL im Rahmen unseres heutigen Festakts zum 160-jährigen Jubiläum bringt auf den Punkt, was uns die DEUTZ-Geschichte zeigt: Mit Innovationsgeist und dem Glauben an das eigene Können, können wir alles erreichen. „DEUTZ steht exemplarisch für das nach wie vor große unternehmerische Potential unseres Landes.“ Nichts anderes ist unser Ansporn, wie DEUTZ-CEO Dr. Sebastian C. Schulte heute deutlich machte: “Unsere 160-jährige Geschichte zeigt, was man mit Innovationskraft und dem Glauben an das eigene Können alles erreichen kann. Das ist das, was ich aktuell in einigen Debatten vermisse, die wir als Land führen: der Glaube an unsere Stärken, Mut und Optimismus.” Das gilt auch für die Technologieoffenheit. Und die klimafreundliche Weiterentwicklung des Verbrennungsmotors: “Der Verbrenner ist das Herzstück der deutschen Industrie. Mehr als 600.000 Menschen arbeiten in der Motorenindustrie und hängen direkt oder indirekt daran. Das Beispiel der Solarindustrie zeigt: Was einmal weg ist, kommt nicht wieder. Und zumindest im Nutzfahrzeugbereich werden wir um die Verbrennungsmotorentechnologie auf absehbare Zeit nicht herumkommen. Das sollten wir als Wirtschaftsstandort anerkennen”, betonte DEUTZ-CEO Dr. Sebastian C. Schulte in seiner Rede. Wir halten die Welt in Bewegung – seit 160 Jahren. Und wollen es auch in Zukunft tun und unsere Kunden bei der Transformation zu klimaneutralen Antrieben begleiten, indem wir das tun, was wir am besten können: Pioniere sein. Innovationstreiber. Macher. Mit dem heutigen Festakt auf dem ehemaligen Firmengelände in Köln-Mühlheim hat die DEUTZ AG ihr 160-jähriges Bestehen mit Kunden, Partnern und Politik gefeiert.
