“Aamir worked as QA manager for me at CMI. During his time as QA manager the product was being migrated from a traditional terminal based application into a windows based client/server application. Aamir was instrumental in developing the processes necessary to manage and support this new development environment. Two of his main accomplishments included, development of process based testing scripts and creation of an automated testing environment. The testing scripts provided a more focused method for testing based upon customer usage of the documentation. This also had a direct positive impact on the documentation process. The automated testing scripts made it possible to adopt a nightly build process, because the scripts provided a means to “smoke test” the application on a daily basis without disrupting the script based testing being performed by QA testers. From a personality standpoint, Aamir is a calming influence over what is usually a chaotic department. Aamir has the ability to convey information without being judgmental or argumentative.
