    Annual awards festival to recognize people of Bangladeshi heritage in the film, music, and media industries. Given Outstanding Achievement Award based on accomplishments as America's Junior Miss 2007, including inaugurating a school in rural Bangladesh and raising money for cyclone victims. Performed violin with Bangladeshi Pop Star, Shuvro Dev at the awards show. Event hosted in the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.

    Competed against young musicians across Minnesota in statewide competition hosted by the Minnesota Orchestra. As the winner in the strings category, performed Zigeunerweisen by Pablo de Sarasate on the violin, accompanied by the Minnesota Orchestra in Minneapolis's Orchestra Hall.
