The first $1 million prize has been claimed from the “Jaws”-themed scratch ticket game just over a week after it was released by the Massachusetts State Lottery.

Solange Villard, of Dorchester, claimed her $1 million prize on April 3, and opted to receive it in the form of a $650,000 one-time payment.

Villard told the lottery she’s bought three “Jaws” tickets in total and all three were winners, having won a $50 prize and a $100 prize in addition to the $1 million.

The Dorchester woman said she wants to buy a house, and take care of her children and grandchildren with the prize, the lottery said.

Villard bought her winning ticket at Millennium Store Inc., located at 496A Blue Hill Ave. in Dorchester. The shop will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

There are still four $1 million prizes remaining to be claimed in the game.

The scratch ticket game also includes five Second Chance drawings where a total of 30 winners will receive a “Jaws”-themed vacation package for two to Martha’s Vineyard in the summer of 2025, where they’ll have the chance to win $1 million. All others are guaranteed to win a prize between $500 and $10,000.

The trip winners will be randomly chosen from non-winning “Jaws” tickets submitted into Second Chance drawings.
