Sometimes lottery winners set up trusts for themselves in order to remain anonymous. Lottery prizes over $103,000 must be claimed at one of the state’s lottery headquarters. The state lottery allows winners to create trust. A trustee is then able to turn in the winning ticket, receive the check and then deposit it into a bank account set up for the beneficiary or lottery winner.

The winning ticket was bought at Wayland Gulf located at 28 Boston Post Rd. in Wayland. The Wayland Gulf store will be receiving a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

Another $1 million prize was also claimed on Tuesday from the “100X THE MONEY” ticket game. The winning prize ticket was from Cagney’s, a gastropub in Quincy. The winner’s identification has not yet been released.

Overall, there were more than 500 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 claimed or sold in Massachusetts on Tuesday, including 12 in Springfield and 19 in Worcester.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $16.35 million, which was part of the game Megabucks Doubler. It was purchased at Cumberland Farms in Ware. Additionally, there were two $15 million prizes won in the commonwealth this year.
